It was pretty average for $229. I think it should’ve been cleaner a little more fancy clean curtains. The coffee pot did not look clean. I felt like the staff was upset because I used the Expedia which I will never do again because they refuse to let my Son check in without me . I paid for two people and told them my son was coming home from the military and my flight would not land till mid night . They refused to help him . U can fight for their country but you aren’t allowed a bed that your parent paid for . They insisted I call Expedia because I bought the ticket through Expedia.not to mention I am a holiday Inn rewards member they didn’t bother to check it so I got no discounts after all we went through at the end of our stay we went to turn in our keys. I asked them if I can get a receipt and they told me no because I was a third-party buyer, so I do not get a receipt. This was the first day of a four day trip back home to Louisiana from San Diego California. It was the first time I was seeing my son in four years. It was a horrible experience.

Good hotel but overpriced
Good hotel, but way overpriced. I understand there was a convention nearby but this hotel was not worth $300+ per night. On top of that they charge $35 per night for parking. Ridiculous.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel and the staff that was very friendly. We didn’t like the AC in the room. It is small so it is not enough to cool the room. There is not AC either in the hallways. Location is great as it is close to downtown and restaurants.

It was nice, the hallways were a little eerie and the parking was super tight, however it was ok, i would definitely choose another hotel in the future, but for the time being and the price it wasn’t bad

We went there for a three day vacation. The Hotel was very clean and well decorated. The Staff was very friendly. We kept running into the Maintenance guy, Ben, who helped us with directions and also traded out our frig, due to it not getting cold. Thanks Ben!! The breakfast was pretty good, which included pancakes, eggs, sauage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels and more. This was a very nice hotel. Our only downside, was asking for a room with a view and it ended up being a corner room that faced two balcony walls and blocked our entire view. LOL. Oh well. The Parking gargage was very narrow. I do not recommend a truck or large vehical, plus parking cost $35.00 a day. Ouch! Also, it was close enough to walk to the piers and Maritime Museums. We loved our stay!

The hotel kept charging my debit card and at one point literally had $1300 of my money when my total bill for my entire stay was $646. They kept saying they were gonna release the money but I didn’t get it back for at least five days. And that was after I was home already for three days. And the last charge, on the night before I was leaving, I had to speak to the general manager, after going to the front desk to try to deal with this issue at least four other times, the general manager said to me “I don’t know why your card got charged or where that Dollar value even came from “. It was $294. She couldn’t explain it at all. This was not OK with me, but she could’ve cared less and that really upset me. Needless to say, I had very little money to spend on my vacation because it was all held up by the Hotel.

It was hot and the a/c in the room did not work very well. Not horrible but not cold. The toilet was close to the ground and a little hard to flush. Overall we had a great stay and comfortable room.
