I could see daylight around the door frame. People fighting in next room were very loud and easily heard. As soon as the door opens you are in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The room was well worn but clean.

Great little motel in San Diego
Very friendly staff when checking in. Pleasantly surprised a the cleanliness of the property and room. Room is large with windows that open for fresh air circulation.TV has plenty of channels to choose from. I grabbed a coffee one morning from the restaurant, super cute place and coffee was good. I would definitely not hesitate staying here again if needed to be in the area.

The retro vibe was great.Pool was in the center and not facing freeway. Large room comfortable bed. Groovy fridge. Need More soundproofing between connecting rooms and 2nd floor Quite noisy. Seasonal decor was fun.

Okay. Pros: great staff, Waffle House on property, good value, felt safe Cons: bathtub had layers of paint that were chipping off, room has an ADJOINING door (it is not listed on the room description. Not the best for safety reasons), can hear every step the room above you makes.
