Good hotel, great location
Can't fault it as a place to stay in central SF. Very close to Union Square and the Mason-Powell cable car, and walking distance to the metro station (which connects with the airport). Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Was quiet at night time. I stayed here with my daughter and the room was large enough (just) for the two of us. Would happily stay here again.

Solid hotel option around Union Square. Walking distance to a few dining and shopping spots. Room was clean, spacious, and I like that it has A/C. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet in the evening. Will definitely stay again.

I had a great experience during my stay! Despite it being a busy time and slightly understaffed, the staff was incredibly accommodating during check-in. Dave, the manager, personally welcomed us and even helped carry our luggage to the room. Initially, I was a bit disappointed as the room felt smaller than advertised. However, the front desk staff quickly resolved this by upgrading us to a more spacious room in their Premier building, which was much more comfortable. The only downside was some noise from picketers/strikers during our stay. Overall, the service and attentiveness of the staff made it a wonderful experience.

I'm not sure how this hotel is rated so highly - it's old, dingy, and dirty. Our room smelled of cleaning solution in the worst way - as if the cleaning solution was cheap and watered down. The device to change water flow to shower or tub was not working - it would switch back to the tub faucet after a few minutes of runner. Our closet was missing a door. Won't be back to stay is this dive.

There were loud worker strikes going on right outside of the hotel during our stay there and the front desk failed to put us on a higher floor. We were on second floor with the noise coming right inside. Room was very dated, windows had no natural light coming through, honestly felt like a prison with lack of lighting! Great location in union square was the only plus for this property.

It is at a very convenient location with a lot of restaurants nearby. There are grocery stores too. 10-15 minutes away from Golden Gate. Multiple private parking options available nearby. Room was of decent size with nice mattress and pillows.
