Everything was great, the only problem is the parking situation. I got two parking tickets in a time frame of two minutes. So I left with almost $600 in parking tickets. But other than that, not a bad place to stay

The staff was incredibly friendly. They were quick to talk, to help guests, and I greatly appreciated their patience in getting my pass for the gym. It's a great hotel for a long weekend with an amazing partnership with the YMCA next door. You can check out bikes if that's your thing (we did), enjoy the wine happy hour, and are a short trip to BART/MUNI/ Busses for easy access to the whole city. The room was comfortable even if our particular room didn't have a view. However, we weren't there for the hotel, just a place to stay. Everything else was a pleasant surprise. The only minor gripe was the coffee in the morning was burned but that's a trifle. And besides, there are so many coffee places in the area to try.

Dont make promises you cant keep...
The rooms were quaint and small but clean. The shower was slow draining...not too many amenities besides using the YMCA next door, bike rentals, and their very basic continental bites in the morning and mini happy hour in the evening. However, the views of the bay bridge are just like the photos online and the location is pretty decent for all embarcadero/fisherman's wharf activities. As far as personalizing your stay...they miss the mark. I was celebrating an anniversary and called ahead to see about making some arrangements for my boyfriend and I. The arrangements made by staff never happened and that was quite disheartening and disappointing.
