The hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and had cozy feel. Also the staff were so warm and welcoming. Lastly, the housekeeping team was on it, every time we came back from our outings the room was spotless, had new towels and the bed was made.

What an utter disappointment! You are not made to feel like a special guest here…it feels like you’re just another body to fill the space. We understand breakfast was not included but we were very surprised there wasn’t even a coffeemaker In the room. The service at this hotel is poor at best. Would not recommend staying here at all!

Great staff. Very attentive and helpful. Comfy bed clean nice products and linens Shower good. Balcony off the bathroom awkward Very cool design but misses in a few details in places too design so cool to the point of awkward. Closet in bathroom okay but could've included a place on sink to hang hand towel. Coffee maker on nightstand is weird and main room lighting was very dark can barely see otherwise enjoyed my stay

Was given a disabled room, found the front door frustrating as it was not clear how to close the door, and no instruction was available. Requested a sewing kit, was not delivered in 45 min, had to ask again and ran out of time to use it. Needed to collect my bags to catch a flight, one person working at the desk, waited for 3 people in front of me to check in. Had less time to get to airport, more stress.

Nice hotel with a few quirks
The Jay is a brand new hotel, and it is well decorated and looks very nice. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The water pressure in the shower kind of sucks. This is California and so water is restricted, but they could use better shower heads. The maid was banging on my door at 8am to clean the room, which was a little irritating. There is a nice sized gym in the basement with a lot of broken equipment, which is concerning based on the age of the hotel. The staff was all very friendly. All in all it was a nice stay.
