Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was typical: I wish hotels had more and better fresh fruit options. And the coffee was not great, so that was disappointing - both in room and at the breakfast room. But we will stay here again because overall it was a good value

Santa Cruz visit to Seaglass and art show
No complaints. Didn’t find jacuzzi until check out- apparently under a carport so an unusual placement. Didn’t ask earlier so wasn’t a big deal.

missing some amenities
minutes away from the boardwalk and another beautiful coastal park. front desk staff was very helpful. rooms were spacious and had new wooden flooring. unfortunately, there was no pool, no fitness center, and no laundry facility on site. if those are not something you need or want, this is a good option. no black out blinds or drapes, just the wooden blinds that let some light through. pillow was firm, no soft pillows in my room. beds were fine. small cute outdoor sitting area with a serene water fountain. breakfast from 7-10, I'm a firm believer that the early birds and later folks should be accommodated to extend from 6 and ideally to 11, but 10 isn't bad. breakfast room is pretty small and not much for hot options unless you're willing to overkill on carbs. overall, given the price, i might still return.
