Absolutely a perfect hotel to stay at when in Shibuya. Great shopping, restaurants and a super market on the bottom floor. Extremely convenient to the metro. And Shibuya crossing was a birds eye view. Highly recommend the s property. Staff was very hospitable and helpful.

Pros: Very nice location and view. Front desk worker (a lady named Anh) was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend. Cons: It was hard to get an Uber/Go taxi to come pick up at the lobby.

The staff was excellent and very friendly location very convenient. The room was close to elevators & great views of crossing. However the room was small, one pillowcase was stained I reported that. The phone was not clean and there was fingerprints on the big window w the view. Bed was hard. Overall room was quiet on 16th floor. Location location is why you get this room close to shopping and train.

I recently stayed at a hotel near Shibuya Station, and it was an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore Tokyo. The location was fantastic—just a short walk from Shibuya Station, making it incredibly convenient for accessing public transport and iconic sights like Shibuya Crossing. The area is surrounded by countless food outlets, offering everything from casual local eateries to more upscale dining options. Whether you’re in the mood for ramen, sushi, or even international cuisine, there’s something for everyone within walking distance. The service at the hotel was equally commendable. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with directions or recommendations. My room was clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a hotel in Tokyo that combines a prime location with great service, this is an excellent option. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip!

Amazing Location
Our stay at the Shibuya Excel hotel was exceptional. The service and rooms were great. Without a doubt the main feature was the location, in the center of Shibuya. Close to everything we could have want and need. 100% recommended!

This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I first arrive because the surrounding area in Shibuya will be wide awake at 3AM just like me because of my jet lag. The area is perfectly safe at that hour and still bustling. The hotel itself is very clean, with a great staff and conveniently located across from Shibuya Station. A great choice!

Dirt/mold in bathroom. Stayed one night for view of Shibuya crossing. That was good. Was surprised by dirt in cracks of bathroom and on shower head. Unusual for Japan where cleanliness standards are very high. Can't add photos to this review. Try Shibuya Stream nearby for a better stay, can find view of Shibuya crossing from Starbucks, department store, etc.
