So, first night I slept on dirty sheets. Met another couple who slept on dirty sheets their first night. My credit card was charged hundreds of dollars not authorized, which the resort, and VISA took care of. Was NOT the relaxing trip I had hoped for due to multiple hotel fraudulent charges.

This is a very nice hotel, especially the Ocean Crest Spa. Nice location, close to many ammenities. Just to mention, the lobby, hallways, dining areas were very cold in temperature.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean, perfect for family. Just a warning on the chandler restaurant host’s incompetence, poor management and will make your family wait for no reason or less than 50% occupied tables.

Check in was terrible! It wasn’t ready by 4pm. I called by 4pm and they said my oceanfront room was not ready. They said they would call me once it’s ready. Close to 6pm, they have not called me so I called them. The room was ready but they said they were busy this the reason they were not able to call me about my room! This check in gave me a migraine. As soon as I got to it room, I took my medicine and slept the night. Checked out at 8am. Don’t even get to enjoy the property because of the bad service.

It was very nice being an ocean front property. Expect a very late check-in as the rooms are not ready even passed check-in time. There were hand prints and lip prints all over the sliding glass door leading to the balcony. The room refrigerator is not really a refrigerator for food or beverages but for medications, so it is not very cold at all.

Disappointing!
There are too many disappointments for this trip. First, we made reservations for two rooms, but when I called a week ahead to make sure everything will be smooth, they only found one room. Lots of hassles as we booked via Hotels.com vs. with Cape Rey directly. But finally we were confirmed with two rooms. Secondly, the check-in time is 4pm, but we could not get our first room until 4:30pm and the second room until 6:20pm. This has greatly affected our original planning. We did not expect this from a Hilton! Thirdly, they no longer had bottled water, but they said they provided two empty bottles for customers to get water from water machine and two slippers in every room, but one of our rooms didn't have those. Maybe they were in a rush cleaning the room and forgot to put them in. Fourth, furnitures were outdated and mediocre with lots of wear and tear, carpets were dirty with lots of stains, bed sheets were thin and looked like they had been used for many years. We had to use disposable bed sheets that we brought just to be safe. Overall, we think the price is too much for this quality. This hotel feels like a better Holiday Inn.
