"Absolute simple check-in. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Proximity to the (very small) town of Volcano was great, and exemplary access to Kilauea Volcano was exactly what we expected and wanted. "

"Arnott's Lodge is a quiet, cozy home away from home. The staff were so friendly. We stayed in a studio. Parking was right outside your private entrance so very easy to unload luggage. The studio had air conditioning, a large kitchen island, a 2 burner stovetop, mini fridge, toaster, microwave and utensils. It was so nice to be able to cook our own meals. The private bathroom had a large shower. The bed was our favorite part. Firm but oh so comfortable after a long day of exploring. The beach is a 3 minute walk down to the end of the road. It's a tiny beach entrance and was never crowded. This lodge is extremely close to the Hilo airport and it can be very loud when planes are landing so be aware if you are a light sleeper. We will definitely be staying here again when in Hilo."
