"When i checked in the girl said your room is right around corner and pointed. When i went right around the corner there was a staircase leading to the 2nd floor. We are in our mid/ late 60s we had 2 bags that weighed close to 50 pounds. We looked around for elevator which was across lobby in opposite direction. Got on elevator but elevators dont go to 2nd floor. I went back to the girl at desk and asked how im supposed to get luggage up the stairs and she said you can carry them. Then she said we have a bell boy that can take them. She made a comment to the other girl that i can walk up stairs. Yes i can walk up stairs but not with 50 pound luggage plus a carry on!!! All she had to say when i was checking in, was room is up the stairs with no elevator access. Will you need help with my bags. Either she was new or having a bad day but she made our arrival very upsetting. Everything else was absolutely wonderful. We had a ocean view room which was amazing. "

"The place itself was great. Incredibly relaxing! Breakfast in the porch was so nice! Stay went totally smooth. I wouldn't consider it walkable due to lack of sidewalks. But for those people who are looking to relax and sightsee, I actually think the location is better than in the heart of downtown. It's both close to everything and also "out of the way". "

"We enjoyed our stay and we are already planning our trip to come back. Even with ongoing renovations the staff was amazing. Our room’s air conditioner was not working and we traveled with a baby. Grace was amazing and quickly moved us to a room with a balcony so that we keep the room at a favorable temp for our child. We loved it!! Thank you to all the friendly staff! "
