Enjoy beach living at its best in this cozy, newly renovated bungalow just a short walk to La Jolla Shores Beach, Avenida del la Playa, and the world class shops and restaurants of La Jolla Village – easy, simple, and ideally located! The home has A/C for the individual rooms which is controlled by a wireless remote for each respective wall units.

This truly classic 1-bedroom, 560 square foot home has everything you need to make your stay in gorgeous San Diego one you will never forget. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a personal retreat.

Two swinging chairs on the front porch greet you as you arrive, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the quiet and relaxing garden setting.

This spacious bungalow offers high-vaulted wood ceilings and a bright living room with a skylight. The beach inspired décor and comfortable seating, as well as a ceiling fan, and a 42” wall-mounted flat screen make it the perfect place to relax and watch a movie when you are not at the beach or enjoying La Jolla Village.

Gorgeous hardwood floors and updated appliances and furnishings throughout the home also give it a warm, welcoming, yet serene feeling. There is also a dining table for 4 in this great room area.

Enjoy preparing meals for family and friends in the newly renovated and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a modern backsplash, and all of the cooking essentials you need to meet your culinary needs. A quaint breakfast nook in the kitchen is a great place to have your coffee while breakfast is being prepared!

The well-designed and spacious master bedroom offers vaulted ceilings, calming décor, a 40” flat screen TV, and a full an ensuite bathroom. A ceiling fan and natural lighting make it is wonderful place to be. Taking a nap or curling up and reading a book might be very enticing options.

This home has everything you could want and is in the perfect location. Take a quick walk down to the beach to relax, play in the sand, rent kayaks, explore the caves, or take a surf lesson! We had a lovely experience staying here. Easy to find, easy booking/check-in process, and parking was perfect. Close to lots of shops and restaurants and walking distance to the beach, which was fabulous. Also pet-friendly with a cute outdoor shower for them to use after playing at the beach. Would stay here again.

For the first week just my wife and I. 2nd week invited son. Accommodations where roomy, clean and ready for us to enjoy. Beach chaira, boogie board and surf boards added to the fun. Rose the property manager was quick to repspnd to question. Made this trip fantastic

2 of us stayed, very clean, very comfortable bed, kitchen was well equipped-was just like being at home- no hassles with any appliances and Keurig was a definite plus. We normally travel with our own but didn't need it this time! Walking distance to great restaurants, small market near by however for larger grocery store closest is Vons in La Jolla Village. Easy to park right in front. Super nice to have chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and sand toys to take to the beach which is a super easy, close walk away! Great communication with host as well. Highly recommend. We are frequent visitors to the San Diego area and we will most definitely stay here again. restaurants

This worked out very well for our family of four (10 and 13 years olds). We wanted walkable to beach and restaurants and this was perfect. We were worried it was on a busy road but it is very private and we seldom heard the road. Beds: the pullout was very comfortable, nice and firm and clean. The master was too soft, warm, and noisy for my tastes, but I slept fine. The A/C was clutch in August as the house doesn't get much cross flow, it made for nice sleeping and having units in the bedroom and living room was awesome. The only thing that would keep me from returning (and it probably won't) is the lack of a door to the bedroom. This made privacy impossible in our case and seems like such an oversight in my research of what to expect. Front and back patios are nice, neighbors were quiet, beach was so close, just a great setup. we seldom heard the road.

Love this place!
Can’t say enough positives about this place, it is better than we even expected. We were road tripping and have a van so a dedicated parking spot was amazing. And once parked, we pretty much walked everywhere. The place is clean, super private, and the beds super comfortable (even the sleeper sofa). A perfect beach cottage. wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect La Jolla stay!
This place was perfect! My husband and I stayed for three nights and would definitely stay again if back in the area. The unit was clean, modern and and conveniently located to everything in La Jolla Shores. 5 minute walk to the beach and the property has shared bikes, chairs and ocean toys to use. Check in was super easy and the host even allowed us an early check in since our flight got in earlier. Definitely stay here!

This is the third time we have stayed in this cottage. It is perfectly located (barely a five minute walk to the ocean), quiet, convenient and peaceful. Beam (vaulted) ceilings give it a warm yet spacious feeling.Lovely AC works gently and we were perfectly comfortable. Would stay there again without a doubt!

Perfect for us…
We came to LaJolla to visit with family (including our toddler grandson). The location was perfect, the weather was nice, the shops and restaurants were enjoyable, and our accommodations were perfect for the 2 of us - just as expected, clean, and bright. We especially enjoyed watching a hummingbird from the front porch. Communications with the owner were seamless and easy. Very nice welcome book - easy to find what we needed and complete. I look forward to staying there again!

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beach and surroundings
We loved this comfortable bungalow and its excellent location. Everything we needed for cooking was provided, there was a nice swing on the patio by the garden, a small outdoor eating area in the sunshine, and laundry facilities. The rooms were tastefully furnished and of a good size (though not quite as large as the photo suggests). Best of all was the great beach, playground and numerous eating options within easy walking distance. We appreciated using the complementary boogie boards and bikes. It was nice to be on a bus route, and the terrific Birch Aquarium is just a few minutes ride away. We enjoyed a lovely walk to and along the Coastal Trail by one of the Sea Caves, with hundreds of pelicans and sea lions on the rocks. All in all a great spot for a relaxing, fun vacation.

Nice lovation
We stayed here after my wife’s hospitalization as it was close to Scripps. It’s perfect for 2 people. Nice bathroom and living area. There are some nice looking restaurants in the neighborhood that we couldn’t try as she was unable to be out very long. It was very helpful to have a washer and dryer.

Really enjoyed the bungalow. The best features were the location and parking. It is literally 5-7 minute walk to the beach and a shorter walk to a nice little strip of bars and restaurants. The unit itself was also nice.

UCSD Drop-Off Trip
We enjoyed our stay very much. We found the place very well landscaped, clean, and close to everything we wanted to do. The only downside to the location is that it is on a busy street so we can hear the traffic noise during busy times. There are just a few minor things that could use some care: 1. Lighting in the living room. There is an overhead light but it was very dimmed and the standing light was not enough for the space. The bathroom was very dimmed because one of the bulbs was out. I texted Rose but did not recieve a response. We made do with what we had. 2. The beds need attention. The masterbed was very noisy when getting into and out of bed. It makes getting out of bed in the middle of the night very frustrating because it wakes up everyone. And the sofa bed was lumpy. My daughter chose to sleep on the sofa instead. 3. The front door is sticky. We couldn't close that door without slamming it shut. This cause difficulties when my husband leaves early for his workout, the door wakes everyone up. Overall, we enjoyed out stay and we would stay here again. Thank you. -Kao
