The Godfrey Hotel was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. They text up dated messages to me as I was staying there during the wildfires. I could text them anytime and they always answered my text. The staff were very polite and courteous. Hoping I can return again in the near future.

Great rooftop patio and pool with unobstructed view of the Hollywood sign. Well-decorated hotel. Neat and quiet 2nd floor outdoor lounge with games. Friendly and helpful staff. Quick walk to Sunset Blvd and Hollywood Blvd. Loved the buffet breakfast. Loved our stay and would stay again!

We had a nice stay at the Godfrey. Staff was friendly, amenities were nice and clean, and the on-site restaurants and bar were good, though a liiiittle over priced IMO. We enjoyed the live music in the downstairs bar area. Will stay here again!

I like this hotel and have stayed numerous times with an excellent room or good room assigned for my booking. Good rooftop, staff usually quite nice & professional. Decent area. Great valet service. This last stay was an inferior room - very small and quite banged up, showing lots of wear and tear! Not happy about that. Cleanliness seems to be slipping a bit. The check-in staff was unpleasant and charged the wrong card for the room stay. Usually, we get some perks for status but nothing this trip. I will think twice about booking here next time.

We’ve stayed at the Godfrey twice within a year. It’s clean, modern and new. This last stay was 5 nights. The restaurant is decent; however the service was a little lacking at times for how not busy it was. Food is good though. The basic room is very small. It’s functional and cozy; but for 2 people it’s a bit cramped. We had to keep asking for refills of coffee and bottled water. Found the HVAC system hard to use and somewhat inefficient. We had to ask for a floor fan to keep the room from getting stuffy at night.

Check-in to the hotel was nice and friendly. The service at the rooftop bar was less than enjoyable as we had to go to the bar to order & our food came out in a cardboard box with no plates and silver or napkins ! Definitely not what a guest at a 4 star hotel expects!

The Godfrey did not make us aware of a private party that was going on until 2 am with heavy beated music that shook our room four floors down, wish we didn't have an early wake up, they did give us a discount on the added fees though. There's got to be a better way to accommodate the private party and allow the other guest of the hotel to enjoy their stay
