"My wife and I were looking for a good quality hotel close to the centre of Bath so that we could watch the race. Leighton House was superbly located on the south side of the city that was generally quieter which we wanted. It had recently been refurbished and the quality of our room was of a high standard. Great bathroom and very comfortable beds and associated furniture. it was also of a reasonable size so you did not feel cramped. Service was helpful and v friendly and breakfasts were good with loads of choices. It was busy when we stayed and we only just managed to get a parking space at the hotel, although I believe there is additional parking close by in the side street. Overall a great place to stay. "

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great location, fabulous breakfast. Only criticism is the pillows are really hard otherwise it would have been 5 stars across the board, personally just prefer a softer pillow bed was comfy though. "

"Front desk staff was friendly. Great offerings on the breakfast buffet. Room was very clean. Bath is a very walkable city and hotel was convenient to the Abbey, the Spa, Jane Austin Museum, and the mayor's free walking tour start point."
