Booked on short notice, hotel empty, asked front desk staff if she had given me a nice room and the answer was yes. Ended up on 5 th floor with view of parking lot and air conditioning unit

Dear Marc, as the General Manager of Claremont Club & Spa, A Fairmont Hotel I personally wanted to apologize for the disappointments we caused when you recently arrived to our resort, with it seeming the Front Desk agent wasn't 100% failure with the view and location of your 5th floor room. Therefore, please be rest assured that I will personally ensure we do some further "show and tell" training with some of our unique guest rooms to prevent similar sort of miscommunication happening in the future to another guest. I think all of the added pop-up shops in the entrance in the lobby is tacky and takes away from the overall beautiful decor . And the tents outside and the different color furniture in the grass just doesn't look like a sophisticated resort
