The very high pitched smoke detector went off at 6:30 in the morning when I was having a shower and I messaged and called the contact number for the manager but no one responded for several hours. It was still going when I left at 7:30 for the airport with a bad headache. There is no on site manager or front desk to help.
On top of that the fire alarm went off twice while I was there for a week and apparently it was a test.

Thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize that building fire alarm went off in the morning during your stay with us. Upon city fire department investigation it was determined that this alarm was caused by a person smoking inside our non-smoking building, and this person was fined by the city of Toronto. Please note that as per city of Toronto fire code all high rise buildings in Toronto are equipped with fire alarms, and those alarms are to be tested every month. Fire alarms are a very important safety feature and they very often save lives. Notices are posted in the building lobby advising when monthly fire alarm system tests will take place. We sincerely apologize that the monthly fire alarm system tests inconvenienced you. Please note that there are 2 security guards on duty at the security desk in the lobby of our building 24 hours a day, every day to provide safe and secure environment and assist in case of emergency. Guards would have gladly updated you on any building related issue should you have reached out to them. Please note that our operations manager resides in the same building to assist our guests every day from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Our records indicate that as soon as our manager was on duty, our manager personally attended at your suite, but you were already gone. Great location, great layout
Publié le 16 nov. 2019 sur HotelsLovely neighborhood (especially if you like to window shop) - easy access to restaurants and coffee. I was there for a business trip and it was perfectly situated. It works well for 1 person. I think it would be fine for a couple, but I wouldn’t have more than 2 adults (not set up with a lot of privacy). Also- a great view!

we arrived on Monday the 4th. left Tuesday at 9 AM.
we had it booked until Friday the 8th.
The apartment needs attention. Door into the bedroom will not close.
the TV does not have normal cable, but i believe a some kind of
satellite system that does not even include any Toronto stations.
WOW, in Toronto and have to watch KOMO news in Washington.
in the bedroom at 11 PM, we enjoyed listening to the next door neighbor's Music.
Oh well, another experience in life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing suite, lovely decor and super clean and bright! AND THAT VIEW!!! WOWSER!!! What a treat! The owner was also very responsive and just provided A++ service. Can't wait to stay there again soon!
