I got 2 kids who expected a pool to swim in. I wanted to workout myself. Both the gym and pool were closed. If I known this, I wouldve booked elsewhere. The whole place, most especially its interior is dated. One of the only brightspots was the breakfast and the very nice cook/worker who was really sweet to me and my family. The next time my family goes to Darien Lake, I'll probably just book on Canadian side of the border

The room smelt like mildew, carpets were wet and smelt terrible. When asking the front desk for air freshener I was given a spray bottle with a hand written label “lemon grass” in which it did not spray properly leaving me with a mildew smelling room. Specifically, booked this hotel for the pool, hot tub, it was out of service for weeks before, website did not indicate. No money was refunded. I was woken up at 4:30 am by the alarm clock which did not turn off. Trying to unplug was a nightmare when you’re half awake and the plug outlet is covered by a box. Overall, worst hotel experience for a $180 one night stay with no working amenities.

Little kids riding bikes and running around my car while it’s running in the parking lot, trash all around the grounds and noise all night long. The morning lady at the desk was wonderful!

Right off I90 so convenient! Not big but pretty well kept. Less expensive than Rochester or Buffalo by a lot! Fun places to eat abou a mile away.

I’d stay again
We checked in late in the evening. There were dirty towels hanging in the closet which was a bit off putting. I just closed the closet and didn’t use it since we were on a road trip and just needed a place to lay our head for the night. Sheets smelled like bleach which means they were clean. I did love that. Breakfast was really good too.
