This was by far our worst vacation experience. At check-in, the agent tried to upsell us on their "platinum packsge", which we didn't even know was a thing. It would have cost an additional $1k for my family and was really not worth it. Everywhere you go on the resort are workers in pink shorts who follow you around daily trying to convince you to sit through their timeshare spiel. They don't take no for an answer and harass you long after you say you just want to relax on your vacations. There are 2 shuttles that take you around, but there is no system or order to this process and it's a damn miracle fights don't break out or someone get seriously injured bc people push, shove, hip check their way on before you even get off like a NYC Subway. You need to make reservations for restaurants, which is fine, but what they don't tell you is you need to do this days in advance. So out of our 7 nights, we had a restaurant 2x. Every other night was the buffet where the food was SO GROSS that we went all the way to DR just to eat cardboard pizza. We met a single mom there who said the food was so disgusting she was hiring drivers each night to take her off property for a decent meal. The staff is incredibly slow and unfriendly. We'd place drink orders and wait 30 minutes if it ever showed at all. The tables never had glasses or silverware and it was impossible to get servers to bring any. Nightlife sucks. Pool closes at 6. Room never had towels or anything restocked. No sample bottles

Room 1276 . Nice clean great area . Fix shower hook please and fix balcony wet clothes string. Towels please get rid of the non white , old ones . El pilon restaurant service 1/10 . All others 10/10 buffet good service. You need better quality juice please. Pools well closing at 7 horrible please we are on vacation figure that out .

During the day you could go to any pool area and get drinks of any kind ans also during lunch you had many choces between the buffet or a mini buffet by the pools very relaxing.. i think the most annoying thing was the internet.sometimes you could be on the beach and get anything onthe beach on your phone and then be in your room and it would drop and comback on constantly

The property was beautiful, the pools and beach were exceptional. The food was okay. We did have issues with toilets not working and the shower leaking, and our patio door did not lock. The towel situation was a bit frustrating, no hand towels or face cloths, and only one towel per person. Rooms were a bit musty. This resort has the potential to be great and we did enjoy ourselves and don't regret going - but it needs some work to be 5-star. All inclusive drinks were disappointing. Staff also had very limited English.

I love the hotel it was great for my family. My kids loved everything. Food was great! My only complaint is the guy at the checkout. He needs to be more polite. His attitude was horrible towards us, even my kids noticed it.

The property is excellent. The facilities offered a la carte dining at 6 different restaurants that you must reserve to be able to dine at those restaurants. This is one of their selling points. Their reservation system said it was always full not matter how early we tried. Were stuck dining at the general buffet the 3 days we were there. They tried to charge us extra for our kids 1-17 even thought we had already paid to expedia and properly registered the kids with their actual age. I offered to show them their passport to show them that their age was correct. They claimed every person older than 7 pays as an adult. Expedia just requires you to enter the kids age if they are 17 or under which we properly did and paid as such. A manager had to called and made us waste an additional hour unnecessarily. One of our room would not open when we arrived. Instead of coming to the room they had us go to main front office yet wasting another hour from our enjoyment. The front office is far away enough that you need to wait on trolly to get there and back.

check in was unwelcoming and hard to communicate with. I called prior to my trip and was told a party of 30 would be able to get in to restaurant no problem but when I got there they said no and no one said we needed to book restaurants ahead of time so we had to scramble and everyone in our group ate separately. Buffett was so hard to get utensils and drinks and they would not let us sit with family even though an open table was available . room service was awful and un clean. towels stained with blood , bed sheets felt disgusting and damp. entire room was mildew and moldy smelling and unclean . you could see the mold on walls.
