Imagine having a great vacation and at the end of all have that feeling taken away. 2 people chose to have you escorted off the property with your luggage because the transportation that you booked through the hotel was no longer an accepted transportation service. Mind you the same transportation company was allowed on the property to drop us off however when it was time to be picked up to go home, I was told that it was a mistake that they were allowed on the property in the first place. The driver that we had through the car service mentioned that she was there 3 times the day before. I am struggling to understand the disconnect and how the property felt it was acceptable to tell their guest upon departure that they need to get off their property to be able to access their scheduled ride service. Their idea of "off the property" was the side of the main street while there are other guests arriving and departing witnessing our luggage being placed on the street. It was one of the most hamulating times in my lifetime. The scheduled driver was uneasy to assist us because while waiting for us to resolve the situation she was threatened by the security guard with physical harm to the point where a bystander needed to remind the guard that he was speaking to a lady and was told that the police would be called if she stayed any longer. I wrote to the hotel in their survey about what happened and to their FB account and they never reached out to us to rectify or explain.

Its a nice property. The staff are very friendly and personable and truly made the stay worth it. The resort is beautiful and on the quieter side due to it being a new-ish resort. The food really, truly sucked and that’s why I rated it 3/5. For the amount we paid, we would have expected better food.

My wife and I went to live aqua from Jan 10-13 2025. This place was amazing. The staff was the best, so nice and respectful. The staff made our stay so much better. We didn’t use our personal butlers much because all the staffs who was near helped us right away! We got the honeymoon suite with the walkout pool right in front of the main pool. Only downside was the room was a bit dusty but the bed, counter, pool etc were all clean and fresh. Also the main pool was closed while we were there but it was because they were constructing a third floor for more entertainment and activities for the future. But since the beach was right next to us, maybe a minute walking distance it didn’t bother me. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive resort. The Japanese hibachi was really good. The food at the BAR was reallyyy good. The best dinner I had was on the beach at night. They had 3 tables which you need reservations for. They serve you a full course meal. Fresh salad, appetizers, the main course is lamb, steak and chicken. So good. Then dessert afterwards. Your choice of red or white wine. Wife and I had a great dinner. We were also provided a private cabana for the entire day overlooking the beautiful beach and sunset next to palm trees. This vacation was so memorable. During our stay they had foam pool parties and neon beach party. Hip hop and some American hits. Reggaeton in the nightclub which is open til 3. Overall we had a great time. Thanks LiveAqua for a pleasant stay!

Loved that you felt you were on a spa retreat…pools in the gardens, spa music thru the resort and relaxing seating areas…a true escape! Only downfall were the restaurant options and food. Restaurants are in row, so it didn’t feel like you were changing scenery and the decor of the restaurants didn’t match the rest of the resort…almost felt like an afterthought. Food wasn’t exciting, not presented well and a very ordinary selection. The cafe didn’t have a wide selection of dessert.

The resort is good overall, its a chill spot, no parties. (i knew it) Food is meh, not so good, not good for picky eaters. They only have a breakfast buffet which is kinda... Lunch should have been the most important food, there's lit no variety when it comes to that spend 3/4 days just eating pizza and burgers lol and restaurants are not as eye catching. It's pretty, smells good, nice staff, but I wouldn't be back. Not for me.

I really enjoyed this resort! We all know that all inclusive resort meals are very mid. But surprisingly I really enjoyed all but one meal during my 5 day stay. The fresh ceviches and the catch of day were always my favorite. Also there were plenty of dining options when it came to choosing a restaurant (Mediterranean, French, Japanese, Mexican, annd Italian). The breakfast is a buffet and I honestly really liked it and always left full. The atmosphere was beautiful, clean, and very modern. We definitively felt like we were at a boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly as well. I would say the environment of the resort is pretty quiet and everyone keeps to themselves (not the place to go if you want to socialize and party). There were plenty of seats at the beach, bar, and pool bar at all times. I also really loved that we didn’t have to make reservations for any of the restaurants and our longest wait was 15-20 mins where we got to sit at the bar and wait with a drink. We could’ve been sat right away but we were more picky about where we wanted to be seated and waited for outdoor seating.
