Basic motel for a good price. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Restaurant next door was closed for low season. The bed mattress was saggy, and you can hear the road traffic. not sound proof between rooms. Good location for driving the Cabot trail.

This place has been around for years but it is comfortable, pet friendly, extremely clean, close to a couple of really good restaurants and a short drive to the ferry that runs between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Even though there were other dogs staying here we did not hear a sound.

Owner very approachable and helpful, fresh bed sheets and pillowcases, towels are clean and fairly new ( tags are new…smells clean when wet) however prefer it to be soft after laundry. We need to move around small appliance ( microwave and coffee maker as not enough electric outlet near the fridge area. Overall a good place to retire after ferry ride from NFL or a day trip to the Cabot Trail.

Great Location for exploring
Despite being located close to the highway it was a quiet stay with undisturbed sleep. Spacious room, clean comfortable - I stayed two nights. I met the host who was friendly and helpful. Good view of the bridge, you need to drive to get food, but great location to explore the Cabot trail and beyond.
