Book a hotel near Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Bukit Panjang

"We've been to Singapore 2nd weekend in January, Thu to Mon for a Conference held at Santosa Island, which is a 20 min ride from the hotel. Unfortunately it was raining throughout, so we've skipped the excursions we wanted to do in the city and stayed in the hotel. Due to the various terraces and space in the hotel - it was absolutely no problem! We had a club room so could also use the Club launch with its superb staff Edlyn, Sofia, Nadia, Blair and Jayel - at night Dino at the bar gave us an excellent treatment. The only downside is, that the room was relatively small, but we have the impression that this is something common in Singapore. We had a loft room (with a very high ceiling) with balcony, so the felt space was OK, but if you are sensitive to having space you might want to book a suite. Also, the offered space for keeping your clothes is a bit narrow, which is not understandable since there would have been plenty of space under the TV for more drawers as well as a cupboard / draws between TV and "kitchenette" - also we where missing a make-up-mirror which has probably been sacrificed to the overall superb design of the room. But the "Nespresso machine" in the room (which is very important for us, since we alway have our first coffee in the morning in bed) and the very friendly staff made up for that by far!"

"Property Hotel n surrounding areas was beautiful. Staff were excellent n service was superb. The only thing missing was certain tv channels, eg., Fox News was not available and only all other democratic media channels was on. That’s not being fair to us since we should be able to watch any news and show and not to be politically biased. Thats the only reason n concern we have as not to stay with shangri la again. "

"The room may be small, but it's impeccably clean and offers plenty of storage space. There are numerous power outlets, and the complimentary tea and instant coffee were a nice touch. The hotel's location is highly convenient, being close to the MRT station and a McDonald's. However, the pool's odd shape makes it difficult for lap swimming."
