Peaceful Oasis
The Carlsbad Westin is in a beautiful location. It has a gorgeous pool area to relax by during the day and is quiet and peaceful for those that are not traveling with children.

The bellman/ valet is completely useless. They didn’t even acknowledge that we arrived and when we asked for a luggage rack, he said no! Then when we asked for his help, he came and dropped a luggage rack to us . Wow… Once we complained, they were ready to smile and acknowledge us. Sad. We won’t be staying here again.

Beautiful rooms and pool and fire pit area. Lots of babies and toddlers in hot tub which seems like a health risk to me. Music by pool was a bit loud and continuous till late. Overall a fantastic place!

Not a stay to relax and be pampered at all.
The Westin is a pretty property with a very attractive check in lobby the check in staff were polite and fast which was great but that's where it ends, The suite we were in only had one robe, one regular coffee and one decafe, I guess they only plan on one guest will be in the room, I had to call for additional, as you walk through the corridors there are many food trays from room service for most of the day at the pool there is a QR code on furniture to order food and beverage delivery to your pool chair but there is only one staff member who prioritizes the line in front of them QR orders after so you will end up in the line anyway otherwise you will be long gone before if it does finally arrive. you have to call for coffee and towel replenishment each evening due to housekeeping does not come unless called or the day you check out to turn the room.
