not the best organized place
no one knew when the bus was passing,
people telling me the cableway (téléférique) was closed, but it wasnt . no one answering the desk .
my room was with a folcable bed, that would block the fridge giving you no space , (basically room not made for two beds)
but the place,

all top Notch
This is a unique place to visit. The village was founded around an actual pulp paper mill in the early 1920's. The village became a ghost town after the mill closed.
The area was re-invented as a unique tourist attraction. Located in the beautiful Lac St-Jean area of Québec, this is a gem. We truly enjoyed the experience.
We had dinner at the restaurant, located in the old mill, it was 5 stars. Great meal and great service.
the place was completely unsatisfactory. it did not look at all like the picture on the site. The cabin came with no sheet pillowcases or pillows (just cushions). Also no towels. And the internet worked only sporadically and very slowly. when we complained about the absence of linen, they said it was not included with the cabin but the hotels.com website did not say that. this was the most disappointing room we ever encountered and it was also expensive.
