Another fantastic stay at Novotel!
The hotel was generally extremely clean. Except for a few dirty stains on the bedroom carpet next to the bin. Rooms would benefit from the addition of a toilet brush. Staff are amazing very helpful and griendly. The refurbished pool ans sauna are a valued addition to the hotel. Will not stay anywhere else when staying in York!

The hotel was okay, not great for the price paid. There was a party happening downstairs which was noisy with the party attendees staythis was not shared with me prior to booking. If it was not I wouldn’t have stayed here. The pillows were flat and had no plump to them, they could do with an upgrade. The rest of the amenities were great and had no issue.

Our stay at the hotel was not bad overall however the beds were not comfortable and the were small and pillows flat, we did request more for our daughter however the hotel said they were short and could only provide an extra one. It wasn’t what we are used to, we stay in similar stand hotels staying at Hilton / double tree and they are far better on a positive note the pool area was great

Weekend away in York
Had a lovely stay at Novotel in York. Very clean and good standard room. Close to the centre. Only down side is, you can hear the noise from the corridor at times. Our room was next to the lift.

Great location
A nice hotel in a great location Within walking distance of the centre The Barbican Theatre is just 500 metres away so ideal for anyone visiting for a concert

Not what we expected from a Novotel hotel.
Room was tiny for 2 adults and 2 children. Housekeeping missed our room. Room was not very clean, there were marks in the tiny toilet. Overall, not worth what we spent.

Fantastic welcome and check in. Lady on check in was very efficient anf friendly. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Decent size. Breakfast was varied, fresh and quality ingredients.
