The staff that run this place are polite, clean and helpful.
Can’t blame the staff for the fact that renovations are underway so unfortunately the smell of paint is everywhere.
Within minutes of my arrival I was informed that the room I had booked
King size bed was unavailable because of paint fumes, unfortunately for me any other size bed leaves me with my feet hanging off the bottom so although they referred to it as an upgrade to 2 queens, it doesn’t accommodate my height.
When into the room , washed my hands and the sink is blocked and not a forget that new upgraded room is on the second floor, no elevators and me with about two hundred pounds of samples. Sink quickly looked after by staff. Into the early hours of the evening slamming doors in the hall near my room, found out later it’s a bus full of students. Next, snow removal operation I’m not sure exactly where but back up alarm every 20-30 seconds this somewhere between 01:00-02:30 AM ???? Then the tour bus, started around 5:00 Am, left to warm up for about an hour and follow by the sounds of the next room occupants playing music and a hair dryer, not entirely sure where the noise was coming from.
I believe it was close to 7:00AM before I got into a deep sleep and up at 9:15 leaving a short window of 9:26-10:00 for breakfast.
Second evening much quieter, asked the front desk if there was some kind of program guide for the TV, nope, have to scroll through some 30 or so channels. Not an affective approach.
