We loved the decor, valet and desk service were so sweet. We were excited about dining and the bar however we went to the bar and were initially acknowldged, then the menu was removed from in front of us. Nobody ever offered to take our drink order and it felt like staff were purposely not acknowledging us even though we sat directly at the bar with several staff walking past us. I am not sure if we were underdressed or what the reasoning was. We went downstairs to the bar at 11:15 since we were told it was open until midnight. We ended up leaving and checked out early the next morning since we no longer wanted to have brunch at the hotel. This was a truly embarrassing experience.

The staff is so nice and accommodating. You can text them with any questions or requests and they answer very quickly. The rooms are a bit small as this is a more boutique hotel. But they are very comfortable. The beds are super comfy and the water pressure in the shower is amazing. It is close to transportation. There is a bus stop on the corner and the subway is a block away. I would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Good service, very clean, located close to transit. However, the furniture and elevator are worn, and the apartment building just south of the hotel is pretty dirty and shady looking. These are minor issues though, and with newer furniture, an elevator refurbish, and the building next door cleaning up it would be a five star stay.

Hotel Normandie sits at an extremely convenient location. The lobby is beautiful, and the staff are friendly. They offer coffee and wine tasting services, very highly recommend them!
