Upon check-in we had to wait for someone to unlock our door by hand because the key cards weren't working. I was then told that they had no rooms that had 2 queen beds, only 1 king and that they would bring a roller bed while I was out at a show. When I got back I stopped at the desk and they told me my key should work now and that the roller bed was in my room. The key card did not work, and I had to go back down to the desk. I went back upstairs and they did not bring a roller bed while I was out. They proceeded to tell me they had none available. They told me they had no solution for me. I have 2 adults and a 13 year old boy sharing a bed now. I asked if they could at least comp the parking. They said they couldn't because it is third party, yet I can pay for it at the front desk, so I'm not sure why they can't at least make that happen. I don't ask for much, but when I'm paying over $500 for a room, I expect everyone to at least have a place to sleep. Instead I'm told that they have no solution for me.

Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was reasonable. Staff was good. Room was quiet enough. Shower was very good. Did not use the exercise room. Lobby area is small, lots of scaffolding and trash on street, it’s an old property, definitely not elegant or romantic. But ok for crashing when you are going to spend your time out exploring. Subway is less than 1 block away.

The location of the facility is great; however , the air conditioner didn’t work - it was stuck at 80 Fahrenheit combined with a wet dog smell. They transferred us to a new room that initially dropped to 65 Fahrenheit for the first night, and then wouldn’t drop below 78 the next three nights we were there. I didn’t have the time or energy to keep changing rooms and was really disappointed.

The only redeeming quality about this hotel was the bartenders and the one housekeeping staff who tried to help me. Chair in room has hair and debris on it, window had cardboard covering it because it was smash on the outside, curtain was broken at top making it difficult to close, mold growing on ceiling in bathroom because it had no exhaust fan inside. Only one man checks people in and out so you wait in long lines. There seems to be a complete lack of meaning of hospitality in this hotel is not one person besides the bartenders and one housekeeping staff was friendly or helpful during my stay.

The staff was very professional and provided excellent services. However, the building itself was very noisy so it was hard to sleep. The bathroom was too tiny and the fridge in our room was super noisy that it scared the kids at night. Otherwise, our overall stay was good. The proximity and walking distance to main trourist areas made up for it. I’ll recommend this hotel to friends and family.

TRYP by Wyndham was a great hotel. The location was so good you could walk almost everywhere (I wouldn't say it's in Time Square - it's about 9 blocks away). Hotel was super clean, and the staff was great. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms seem very newly renovated, were very clean and nicely done. Staff was very friendly and concerned that everything was to the satisfaction of the guest. Also great parking very close by, and location ideal for activities at and around Times Square.
