The all-wood interiors have cathedral ceilings for excellent air circulation and comfort.

Natural insulation from the 6 inch logs keep the cottages cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Cajun Cedar Log Cottages are situated on the beautiful Cabot Trail, known for its ocean vistas and unspoiled wilderness. We are on the Margaree River - a Canadian Heritage River. Its rich historical and cultural significance, serene beauty and accessibility are but a few of the features that make the Margaree enchanting and brings visitors back year after year.
This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

These quaint log cabins were just the right size for the two of us. The on-site manager was friendly and helpful. Quiet, clean and comfortable but an easy drive to many sites around Cape Breton. Would definitely stay there again.
