"The property is located close to the 167 st station like 8 min walk. The area at night is a bit dark. The property is perfect. The rooms was big, the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The room has a small fridge, tv, phone and a security box. They offer breakfast and they have coffee and bagels 24 hrs. I recommend to stay in that hotel if you are looking for good quality hotel at moderate cost. "

"This place exemplifies the fact that if you know NYC and are willing to use the subway you really can save thousands on a visit. It is located up in Washington Heights in far north Manhattan, maybe 10-15min from Penn Station if you catch the A express (2-3x that if local). It's a mainly Dominican neighborhood, you'll see brownish people speaking Spanish and hear loud merengue, but I believe it's about as safe as most neighborhoods... I worked there several years without any problems, even late night, but if you are uncomfortable the block and a half from the train to the hotel has more cops than the local precinct. The hotel itself is great, brand new with rooms that would be spacious anywhere, but cavernous in Manhattan, and the staff may actually be the friendliest i have experienced not just in NYC but anywhere. I am gold so they upgraded me and even gave me a bottle of quite good wine, so take that into consideration, but I will definitely be back!"
