"Beautiful staff friendly hotel clean"

"I was happy with our choice to stay here! I stayed with my 3 kids (teens and pre-teens) and we loved being so close to everything. You really can't be any closer to Timesquare than you are in this hotel! But we also felt safe and our room was quiet. The hotel is also close to many Subway stations, Broadway shows, and only a 20 minute walk to Central Park. We had 2 queen beds (compared to other hotels in the city that seem to have doubles). Hotel staff were very helpful, even for random questions like which Subway station should I use. Overall I would stay here again. "

"W Time Square hotel had amazing staff. Check-in and check-out was extremely easy and convenient. I would have left 5 starts if I had not visited the lounge/bar. At the bar/lounge, staff was rude, we waited over 15 minutes to get service and didn’t get any until I approached the bartender, who ignored me twice. I asked the waitress and she was rude and didn’t check on us once. She brought the check with our drinks and assumed we were done. I closed the tap right away and on our way out, the busier asked us to go back and throw a pizza box I left at the table, which was extremely embarrassing. I had left extra tip just for the box, but took it back with the box. I wan to mention the place was not busy at all. We decided we would not use of $30 credit/day to avoid such service. Which is a shame because we did spent way above the credit. Cleanliness: The room smelled clean, however, the toiles had urine stains, the bathtub was missing one curtain, and there was dust and hairs all over the bathroom floor. The cleaning staff took care of it right away. Although we didn’t mind, it made us wonder about the beds, carpet, and furniture. Location was very convenient, we had bakeries, restaurants, pizza, and many shopping stores around, including souvenirs. Place seems very safe and clean all around. "
