The hotel was super clean and friendly. The staff were polite and really helpful. No concerns with the hotel or staff. 5 star for everything. The parking garage next to the hotel ( attached but not part of the hotel ) was really expensive. We stayed from Sunday night till Tuesday morning and it cost $300 and the staff were really rude and mean. I suggest do not loose your parking ticket and remember to put money away as you will need to pay for parking AFTER the stay and they will need the parking ticket they gave you.

I had reservation 2 queen beds but they gave me one king bed and told me they will bring the twin bed to room but it didn't happen. The second night I told the reception clerk and they told me check back at ten clock see any room available so they can switch to new room. Check back at ten nothing available and tell me check back at 12:00pm. I said forget it because I don't want go back and forth to wast my time. I ended up sleep on the floor for two nights. When I checked out, I asked for the different price back, they did wave for fee.

I’ll begin with the positives: location, Raquel helped us change rooms. Now where do we begin. Upon entry, there was a large inflatable rat with low banging going on from the local union. The Manhattan had hired private construction workers to do the job, so it’s a distraction from the hotel and not a welcoming entrance. Once we checked in, in order to hold our bags the staff asked us for tips to perform a simple service.Once we got to our room it felt like we were in a 1 star hotel. Mold, ripped carpet and wall paper, and needing to check for bed bugs due to previous reviews was something that is required. The staff was unable to give us key cards til later in the day. Once we went down to get our cards, Raquel was able to change our rooms without asking to the renovated side of the hotel, which was more like the photos. Overall, do not let the photos fool you as they couldn’t be further from the truth. Once we got our room everything was ok except the loud construction that started at 8:30 am. Overall, we didn’t spend much time in the room as we were just looking for a bed to sleep in and a shower to use, but truth be told this hotel is not somewhere I’d never go to again. Pick any of the other hotels around it, you’ll at least enjoy your stay.

Really close to time square, but the rooms are not made to cancel any type of noise. We can hear everything from inside or outside and it’s all not practical at night. The breakfast is really not all that and we don’t have any place to site while we eat

Hotel needs upgrading, they are in the middle as it said on signs but our room was gross. The run has a hole in it and water was under so when you were in showering it felt like you were standing in a water bed. The staff was very good though. Good location

Every time I stepped out , I needed new room keys. Someone had written all over the walls in my room. I asked to change room because of the walls and they said I could go.. without a refund. I ended up staying because it was late I think there’s a specific floor for bargains because all other floors were nice. My floor was the cheap floor so they give very little attention.

There is a group of construction employees union protesting daily in front of the hotel. Almost all day with horns ans whistles. Then if get a room not facing the steet you get the noise from the renovation.

Hotel is old and looks like it came out straight of a horror movie. Walls are thin and you can hear the other room’s occupant. During our last day there was a protest outside the hotel early in the morning. Staffs are friendly though and hotel is near the subway.
