The Inn was an older Inn and worn. The mattress was a little soft. It has lost it's lustre.

Lovely location overlooking the water. Ask for the top story for good views, but be prepared for two levels of stairs. Linda was great. Breakfast was great. Fresh food and fruit, along a continental-style line of selections. An old purpose-built (1938) Inn, for a great NS feel. Pictou is just off the beaten track, but well worth the stop. Quiet, walkable, good restaurants.

Very clean room & bathroom and rest of the premises. The owner Linda is a wonderful person and makes you feel like family. The location is very close to the harbour front. The Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Will certainly come back again.

Linda was a gracious and informative hostess. The room was spotlessly clean. Beautiful view of harbor. Walking distance to town. The Inn was the epitome of a traditional inn. Lovely breakfast included. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful old Inn
This is a beautiful old inn. Beware that there isn’t an elevator so you may have to carry your luggage up to the third floor. Our room was quite small, but had a pretty view of the water. The mattress moved around quite easily and the blinds in the bathroom need a good wash. The owner was very nice and seems to do just about everything! Breakfast was pretty good, although there weren’t “hot” options such as scrambled eggs, etc. The Inn is located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

We only stayed one night in the King suite, but it was th perfect rest along our route. After a lot of long drives, our backs appreciated the jet tub in our room. We got pizza for dinner in town and veged out in the comfortable room. Breakfast, served in the dining room, was great and exceeded expectations. Linda is truly lovely and you can tell she takes great care of the hotel
