Book a hotel near Oasis Beach, Puerto Aventuras

"We were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with upgraded perks such as complimentary spa offers and discounts, a private pool and beach access and access to the adjoining resort facilities. We were pleased with the food at the a la carte options. However, accessing them was a logistical nightmare. The online access was down. This required guests to line up daily at 7:30 am to TRY to get a booking for that day. On our second last day, I was first in a line of 25, and was still unable to access any a la carte restaurant for that day. No one was able to book. There is no advance booking- I don’t understand the issue. It must be improved. One other concern was the use of artificial sweeteners in the bar mixes. We all ended up choosing non-choice drinks due to this practice- not only is it an unpleasant aftertaste, it causes migraines in one of our party. We switched to clear drinks like gin and tonic instead of delicious fancy drinks which was disappointing. The juice bar was a real treat, and we utilized it daily. We found the choices for vegetarians and healthy eaters were plenty. The crepe stand was a lovely choice, and the availability of cappuccino at most locations was a bonus. We enjoyed the evening activities and the entertainment and animation staff were wonderful and sometimes hilarious! The dancers in the Latin show were truly world class. Overall, with those small bits of feedback, it was an exceptional vacation and we will certainly try to return. "

"We had a great time during our stay. Having the pools and beach within a 1 minute walk from the unit was a big plus. It was aloo very convenient to have restaurants and the marina inside the community. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of a television in the main bedroom. We had a few hiccups the first day but Richard took care of everything within minutes. The kitchen was absolutely beautiful with plenty of space and beds were very comfortable. This is a great unit to rent. You open the patio door and you're looking right at the beach and if you look left you see the pools .everythingcovenientHarestaurants and the "

"We stayed with another couple in this beautiful Villa. The private pool in the back was one of our favorite spots to hang out. The villa is well laid out and the kitchen is fully stocked with appliances. They even had oil for cooking and some spices. It is pretty close to the restaurants, the beach, and a beautiful walking trail. The kayaks provided were a fun way to exercise and see the beautiful lagoon. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any requests. We have been to this area many times and it never disappoints. I highly recommend you go and visit Xplor just a little ways down the road. We rented a car at the airport. It was wonderful to have freedom to drive where we wanted and was very inexpensive. There is a beautiful cenote close by as well. We will visit again soon!"

"I loved the canal view from my room. There is a swimming pool and a "pool" was created with ocean water and tropical fish, that has water flowing in from the boat canal. It was early May, low season, when I stayed and I felt like I had the place to myself. The room was nice and had everything I needed. You might want to rent a bike or a golf cart to get around. I loved Puerto Adventuras. The ocean water was calm and clear to swim/snorkel in because of the artificial reef. Very safe and quiet. Good to get away from the chaos of Playa del Carmen. I had a rental car (note, there is no parking lot at this hotel) so it was easy to drive to restaurants and the beach. I wonder if the hotel serves food at dinner time in the high season? "
