Quick stay for baseball tournament, but close to everything a lot of families stay here for Disney Land. Free breakfast is a plus

My wife and I have stayed here a couple times before and always had a good experience, so we booked again. This time was a little different. The first night, my wife was asleep and I was trying to go to sleep when I heard a gurgling noise from the bathroom. I got up to check and dirty water was flowing up out of the tub drain. I recorded it and went down stairs to show the front desk attendant. They were very nice and offered to switch rooms for us but they said that it was a known issue. Why would you let people stay in a room that you know has something like that wrong with it? We decided to switch rooms the next day since my wife was asleep. The following day, when she was taking a shower, the handle on the water control broke and the water wouldn't turn off. We told the front desk people about that too and switched rooms. They had maintenance up there to fix it immediately. This is a very nice place and the people who work there are very good. Good free breakfast, and we've always had good experiences prior, I don't like to write negative reviews but they had no business renting a room where they know that happens. Otherwise, it is a very nice place.

The Ayres was the perfect choice for our stay in California. It was a great central location for our travels that had us going both south to Sandiego and north to L.A. The room was nice, the staff were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Great staff, comfortable beds, breakfast had mostly good options. A little more day to day variety (like swap out pancakes for French toast or waffles) would be great, but overall definitely somewhere I would recommend!
