It claimed that parking was included and that was the main reason I chose it. That turned out not to be the case. With a smirk, the front desk clerk informed me that parking was available across the street in private parking for 44 dollars a day. I didn't appreciate that. The room was nice but I would stay somewhere else next time.

Overall stay was good. Customer service was good and the room was clean. A few issues I had were related to the following: 1. The room was really cold; when I attempted to heat up the room, the heater smelled really bad so I had to turn it off right away. 2. There are a lot of homeless people on the Main Street beating drums, playing loud music, and just overall couldn’t sleep from the noise. 3. The mini fridge was not working. I didn’t need to use it so not a big deal but I’m sure had I asked them to fix it they would have right away. Aside from these aspects listed above, the stay was pleasant and room was a good size.

The lobby is clean and bright and so are the rooms. The hotel is older and the rooms are small. They have wall air conditioners and sometimes they blow directly on you in some rooms. The beds could be softer but they’re not bad. Overall It’s a good value at the price.

Friendly staff, very large room for our family of 4. Great central location with many restaurants and shopping nearby, and the streetcar to fisherman’s wharf two blocks away. Not a safe feeling when the sun went down but no fault of the specific hotel, it’s just how the city is.

Older building, in a convent location but Picketers from other hotels were protesting. Unfortunately there are a number of homeless in SF.
