Our room was modern, clean, comfortable and spacious with modern amenities despite being below ground. Our window faced the parking lot and we a direct view of our car, which we had just happened to park in front of our assigned room, facing our window. It's conveniently walkable to downtown.

Oddly many restaurants in Gaspe are closed Sunday’s, but the hotel is walking distance from many places. We had an issue with our car and needed a boost in the morning! The staff member who helped us out was Well versed in the process. ( sorry I did not get his name !) 5 star service !

Nice mix of antique and modern
The room was lovely - spacious, clean, and nicely appointed. It was a nice mix of old (antique) and modern. The check in process was easy and the clerk was friendly. I appreciated that English translations were readily available. We had breakfast at the restaurant and this is the only reason I am not giving the hotel a full 5 stars overall. The food was disappointing and the service lagged considerably (20 minutes to get our first glass of water). I suspect that they were busy or short staffed and doing the best that they could.

The bathroom of our room was very small. The exhaust did not remove mositure at all. The European shower glass was too short and water splashed on the floor made it hard to move around in a already small bathroom. Window curtains could not close fully and was ripped in certain parts.

The hotel is in a nice location with a large parking lot. It looks well laid out but we couldn't reach our room without going down steps. Not so nice if you aren't a light packer. The bed was very comfortable and quite quiet which was surprising as hallway noise was heard in the room during the evening and morning. The couch was a bit soft so not that comfortable to sit on. It was fine for a single nights stay.
