Large property that goes all the way to the street in the back where you can park. Electric vehicle charging also available. You need to walk to the front door though because the back door is the owner’s private entrance. We stayed in the annex which was nice and quiet and felt like we were in the woods. It had a loveseat, tv, fake fireplace(no heat), large comfortable king sized bed, shower tub combo, bathrobes, kitchenette (mini fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, dishes and cutlery). We went in the winter so we didn’t get to use the sauna or pool but it looked nice. Not sure if the annex has air conditioning. I think there may have been bats in the roof since we heard some fluttering noise in the evening only. We didn’t see any mice but saw some mice deterring devices plugged in so I guess they worked. Breakfast was delicious. Started off with a smoothie and then a fruit salad or yogurt with fruit. Main dish was a croissant with ham, melted cheese and pear with a small salad. The next day was an English muffin topped with scrambled egg with cheese and small salad. Ended with a small Iranian sweet. The owners, Patrick and Myriam with chatty and welcoming and offered discount coupons to nearby restaurant and cheese at the Abbey. The location was perfect to walk to nearby main street and the skate path. May return in the summer or fall.

Wonderful hospitality! The suite has great amenities and a fabulous shower, and kitchenette. The home made breakfast was delicious and plentiful, great location to walk into town, we will be back!

Our room was the Annex and separate from the main house so it was very private. The room was comfortable and had a kitchenette. The bed was the most comfortable bed we've experienced while traveling so far. The grounds are lovely. The pool & hot tub are great. The breakfast is made with care and organic ingredients. The owners are friendly and helpful. They recommended a spa for us and it was perfect! Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay and we will be back.

Nous avons vécu séjour reposant pour la longue fin de semaine de la Saint-Jean. Déjà le charme d’arriver devant une superbe maison victorienne entourée de jardins et d’arbres matures. L’endroit est très très beau. Notre suite était jolie et bien équipée ( Sherazade), le lit très confortable. La piscine chauffée et le spa nous ont détendus, c’est une belle expérience en étant entouré de nature. La maison se trouve à 4 minutes à pied de la rue principale, où sont les restaurants et boutiques, pourtant on séjourne dans un grand calme. L'emplacement est super pratique. L'accueil de Maryam et Christian, c’est la pièce maitresse qui mérite à ce séjour une note parfaite. À l'heure du déjeuner (inclus et toujours délicieux) on a l'occasion de discuter entre nous, hôtes et voyageurs. J’ai eu plaisir à échanger sur le monde avec Maryam, en savourant les plats santé et savoureux de Christian. Merci pour cet accueil!

Beautiful house, well appointed, pleasant host. Jacuzzi tub, but if you have trouble with your legs the side of the tub is very high. Also, shower is in the tub, nothing to hold onto if you have balance problems. Don’t know about the other rooms, so ask. Also lots of stairs. Very close to shopping and restaurants in an extremely charming town
