The only drawback I had was that we were on the 18th floor and the 19th floor they had it under construction, they had an incredible noise doing work, we called to complain and they told us that they couldn't stop, that's not right on their part because you don't go to a hotel for that

I’ve seen some really bad reviews about this hotel and it really ain’t as bad as what people are saying. The lady that checked us in went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. There is only 1 lift to the 18th floor but I never had to wait long for it to come. The room was comfortable and clean. The only downside is there isn’t any chairs/table in the room. No glassware, no fridge or any amenities that are useful. There was a little mold on the ceiling in the bathroom as well and the fixtures are a little worn. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

I was worried after reading the reviews of this hotel. My guess is many reviewers were comaring the price of the hotel to the luxury they thought it would pay for. The hotel was completely fine. The staff was great. The location was absolutely amazing. And the hotel ( we stayed on the 18th floor) was perfectly fine.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed in. Families beware… there is literally no way to contact the front desk for anything. The room had more issues than it had amenities. The shower was unusable and had black stuff dripping by into it.. but I couldn’t get a hold of anyone to do anything by about it. When I went down to the front desk to address it, there were about 12 people in line and we had reservations. I called 5 times and was never able to get ahold of a front desk staff. I found a manager who said he was going to come talk to me, but never did. And what’s worse was we were on the executive level in the newly renovated rooms. I’d be scared to know what the unrenovated rooms look like… I have videos of the other broken items (bathroom door would not close at all, blinds would not open, broken drawers..) but I’m unable to upload videos.

Worst experience in NYC ever!! Would never recommend that hotel to anyone, not even my worst enemy! Between bugs in the shower and flickering bedroom lights, that hotel is off my travel list!

Booked a room on 18th floor. Clean, large, dual shower heads in bathroom, 2 king beds. Hotel failed to disclose they were doing construction on 19th floor. Why in the world would they be working all night? Banging, jack hammering sounds. Called to front desk at 130am and multiple times after that before my frustration left me no other choice but to go to lobby at 430am in my pajamas to complain! There were 5 others complaining about the same thing. Was moved down to 8th floor. While it was quiet the room was so dirty, the door didn’t close properly and it was a double bed. Complete downgrade from the 700 a night rate I had paid for! Manager promised to refund a full night and provide a discount on 2nd night. Upon returning from my vacation, said manager has been unresponsive to my email and calls. Terrible customer service! Only good about this hotel is the location. Walking distance to major tourism spots like time square.

Nice hotel room and especially nice to have your “own” elevator to 18th floor. It was cold outside and the heat didn’t work at all! The lobby was busy every day and people in lines blocked the access to the elevators

I didn't like it at all. Two of three Elevators were broken down for all my three days stay. People have to wait long line to get in or out. The front desk people was not accommodate to me which assigned me to a room far away from elevator even I had 10 pieces of luggage. So for all my three days stay, I only went down to the street level for two times.

WORST SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE. The hotel is doing construction and failed to tell their guests! At 8:45AM they had drilling so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. If I would have known, I would not have booked this hotel. They moved us to another room not at the executive suites and still you can hear the construction. They ended moving us yet again to another room that was definitely not 4 star quality. More like 2! They also gave us the wrong room key to another room while there was someone else’s luggage in it. Huge security issue! The people are the front desk were incompetent.

The room was too small for 4 people and there's no where to lay out and unpack your luggage. The room never got cool or comfortable, it looks like some black mold on the floor by the carpet by the window. My family and i chucked in on November 10th then on November 11th we went outside the hotel but couldn't get back to our room because all elevators to the 18th floor and above was broken/not working. We have to climb up them stairs to the 18th floor with a 3 year old child up and down in the meantime no sympathy or apologies from the hotel staff or management even as we check out early before the entire stay. November 11th the day of the broken elevators after climbing all 18th floors of stairs we came down once for dinner but missed a whole Saturday night of New York City time Square excitement because no one wants to go up and down those stairs anymore.

I reserved two rooms for our family trip. One room has no refrigerator and should ask the hotel. The hotel said that customer should ask to have a refrigerator. i have never heard this comment before. Also thermometer doesn’t work so the room didn’t come heat. Another room has cockroaches, horrible. I know the hotel location is perfect to trip for manhattan but there are many options not even this hotel. Parking lot is good but you should pay when in and out, very expensive. Only hotel pay the parking fee during nights. Please think about that to book this property.
