The hotel was classic Palm Springs, wonderful... the stagf ruined it.. we are locals and buisness owners and sometimes when we want to get away we do a staycay to keep our money local and every tome we do it leaves us with a sence of pride but this time the guy who checked us in for wome reason felt it needed to insult us in a very guetful demeaning way, we simpke looked at each other and continued to be our happy selves but in disbelief in hiw we were treated. Sadly this will be an experience we will nevwr forget and now re forced to think about it wverytime we get asked what waa your worqt experience staying in Palm Springs... i only write this because i hope this male checkin person that wa the only one there May 23rd at 6 pm gets notice of this and feels awful and never does it to anyone else,

The staff was wonderful. We stayed in the patio area and had a quiet semi private courtyard. If you travel with carry on only like I do the amenities in the bathroom have a more masculine scent. Lots of space at the pool area with plenty of options for shade or sun.

Poolside rooms areis great, otherwise

We enjoyed our couples weekend at the Palm Mountain Resort but there were some distinctly good and some distinctly problematic aspects of our stay. First the good: the bed was very comfortable, the lobby was clean and attractive, the location right near the center of Palm Springs was great. The pool was wonderful. It was clean and large with plentiful lounge chairs and umbrellas. We especially liked the free floats and tubes the hotel provides. What we hated about this hotel was there was no way to keep the room dark and it made it very hard to sleep. The window coverings let in tons of light that woke us up very early in the morning. If you are happy sleeping with an eye mask this probably won’t bother you, but it bothered us a lot. I saved the most important thing for last: there is a huge difference here between the poolside (more expensive) rooms and the other rooms. We originally booked a non-poolside room, thinking we’d end up with a view of the city or mountains, which had always been fine at other hotels. In this case, the first room we were given was a tiny, dumpy, dark, depressing room with the only windows being on an inner staircase and hallway. And it wasn’t cheap! We had to request and pay extra to get a poolside room. After that, we had a nice vacation, but it left a very bad taste in our mouths

We really enjoyed our stay at Palm Mountain Resort & Spa! The location is perfect — right in the heart of downtown Palm Springs but still peaceful, with beautiful mountain views to wake up to each morning. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we loved the heated pool (though by the afternoon the water was a little grubby) and free morning coffee — such a nice touch. Only downside was how loud the air conditioning unit was..would keep us up at night… though with that desert heat, we were very glad to have it! Overall, a great base for exploring Palm Springs.

We stayed for a weekend girl's vacation and found that it was in a great area, quiet, and clean. room was large and had modern decor. Had a great stay overall.

Although we were told our room wouldn’t be cleaned/reset til after the 3rd day, someone came in our room on the 2nd night and “cleaned it” removing an HM shopping bag that still had items in it. Money was also taken from our counter. We were not given our items back and the staff acted unbothered by the fact someone came in our room and took our belongings. We were told the bag was thrown away by whoever cleaned the room. SMH. We would like to be reimbursed for the cost of our items and the $20 stolen from the counter in our room.
