Had a great time at the Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn. Friendly staff. Beautiful sights! Right next to the legacy trail if you need to stretch your legs cycling.

The property is a bit dated but acceptable. The room has a nice fireplace which did not work, the front desk was supposed to send a person to fix it but they never showed up.The TV and cable system was very confusing. Apparently the TV has its own receiver which can receive what appeared to be a very dysfunctional satellite system. Trying to get the Rogers/Shaw cable system to work was a challenge as the TV was not set to Rogers/Cable as the input. The pillows are made of very uncomfortable foam chips so both my wife and I had neck pain and did not have a comfortable sleep. The door locks use a key, which is today's world is antiquated, the issue with this is if you do not actually turn the old door lock to lock and leave the room, the door is actually not locked, this is bad security!

Lovely location and very friendly staff. A free glass of wine was much appreciated! The room was very roomy; the only criticism is that the curtains didn’t cover the whole window and we felt a bit exposed. Also, whoever was in the room above us had what sounded like concrete boots on.

We stayed in alot of different hotels during our holiday in Canada. This was by far the best stay. The staff would go above and beyond to help. The beds were very comfortable and loved also the touch of cheese and wine with the Jazz music in the lobby. Really lovely hotel!

The room was good size and clean. Appreciated the early morning coffee and 5 pm wine and cheese. Also the $5 breakfast to go was great for early morning hikes. Free and convenient parking also a plus. Just close enough to Banff and right off highway for easy access to the park.
