Just stayed here with a group of 7 friends and it was the perfect hotel. If you’re with friends looking for a spot to stay this is a top tier spot in Montreal. Two streets away from the best area in Montreal and there’s so much around. Definitely gonna come back and stay here again and I recommend everyone to do so too. Thank you for a wonderful stay LIV MTL!

I recently stayed at this property and was extremely disappointed. The noise level was unbearable, making it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. What made it worse was that the listing failed to mention the nightclub situated directly below the rooms. The constant thumping of music and the commotion from patrons went on until the early hours, disrupting any chance of rest. If you're looking for a peaceful stay, I highly recommend finding another place. This experience was far from relaxing, and the lack of transparency about the nightclub was unacceptable.

very functional and well-located place, the cleanliness of the unit was impressive, and it had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, with the exception of slippers and body lotion. the localisation is perfect especially if you have business at Concordia University or McGill. One minor drawback is the decor. The room had a somewhat very blended Ikea-inspired feel, which could benefit from a warmer touch. My unit didn't have carpeting, which added to the overall sense of coldness in the decor. About the "one-bedroom" description: The bedroom doesn't have a window to the outside but instead has a top glass, allowing light in from the living room. This might be something to consider for those who prioritize a window view. It is ideal for a couple or a solo traveler, but the living room curtains were a bit of an issue. They seemed poorly installed, and when you opened the windows, they would bump into the curtains. Furthermore, the curtains were lacking in both length and width, which was a minor inconvenience. I should mention that the hotel has a lounge downstairs. As a New Yorker, I'm accustomed to a bustling city ambiance, and the noise was minimal didn't pose any inconvenience for me. I will definitely be back

If you've ever been to a memorable speakeasy bar, then you would understand the following description. The block was located conveniently in downtown busy street. The brownstone type building housing a quiet hookah bar at the base raised eyebrows at first glance. To the left of the building foyer was a door accessible only by using a special assigned code. At the top of the stairs were appx 4 apts, each also accessible via unique codes. Once our apt door opened, we were welcomed by an extremely comfortable, very modern studio apt complete with murphy & sofa bed, plenty of closet space, fully usable kitchen with washer dryer & complimentary bottle of wine. I've travelled extensively, stayed at fancy hotels & air B&B's. I do not brag about experiences unless they were positively memorable. I must say, our few days stay at the beautiful city of Montreal was fantastic. Our first LIVMTL experience including location, nearby parking & quick cellphone response when needed by our contact Carlos made it that much more special. Speakeasy's aren't for everyone, but for those who can appreciate the relaxing, at home, comfortable feeling when travelling will definitely enjoy LIVMTL which I personally nicknamed the cool speakeasy affordable travel rental for couples & equally for families. Sending Personal Thank You & Shout Out To Carlos & LIVMTL Staff. We look forward to revisiting later this year.

Beautiful apartment, good value for money. The only downside, is that it is on top of a shisha bar, so the sounds (music/conversation) echo into the night. That said I would consider staying there again. Just wish I had been prepared for that.
