"Indoors the property is nice. Very clean and the staff is very friendly. No parking but we did not have trouble finding street parking both nights. The neighborhood is a bit rough but you don’t come here to stay or walk around the neighborhood. You come here to visit the tourist attractions. I would give the hotel a 10 out of 10 and would definitely come back to stay here. The price is also incredible for San Fran. "

"Aging hotel in good nick, great value. Amazing location in the middle of action around Union Square and walking distance to financial district and moscone center. Two blocks away from the homeless chaos of the tenderloin, streets are relatively clean and safe. "

"This hotel is comfortable for the price and is clean. The bathrooms are updated and it is walking distance to the regency ballroom. The area isn’t sketchy specially when there’s an event happening, we walked to and from there with no problem. I would definitely recommend staying here! And the staff is friendly which is a plus :)"
