"Good option near the airport but still a 20 minute bus. nothing much in the area so probably dining at the hotel. stuff were helpful and friendly. In the heathrow area there are some not that great places but this is NOT one of them which also justifies the higher price tag "

"The Bloc hotel was exactly as we had hoped. We stayed overnight in a Vista Plus room and did a late checkout as our flight got cancelled and we had to fly in the afternoon instead. The room had an amazing runway view and I spent quite a while planespotting and watching the airport vehicles buzzing around. Being the plus it also had a bit more space, a desk and a nespresso machine. We got given premium security entrance which was a massive bonus. We also used the discount they offered, just showed our room number card in Wetherspoons (Flying Horse only) and got 20% off :) Room was clean, bed was massive and very comfortable, huge TV also. Shower room is very small and is in all in one wetroom, trouble is the toilet etc gets wet when you have a shower, shame it's not a touch bigger.....the shower itself was amazing.....high pressure, hot, lovelly."
