I was disappointed that I had to ask for my VIP benefits upon check-in, as they were not proactively given to me. I also was not informed that a coffee maker would not be in my room, and that I would need to request one if I wanted fresh coffee every morning. I only found out about this during checkout when I asked if there was coffee available at the hotel. This is important information that should be given to guests upon arrival.

The bed was great the room fine but overfilled with huge old fashioned furniture. No breakfast available but plenty places nearby. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The thing that put me off was the $35 dollar a night amenities charge. We got 2 bottles of water on first night. Nothing on 2nd. Couldn’t refill water bottle at water station at front door - this is for having a drink from a paper cup only. Had to go to the basement to water fountain outside gym. Apparently the amenity charge also includes access to said gym (never had to pay extra to use a hotel gym before). This just feels mean.

hotel itself is good; room is old but with acceptable cleaness. I am not happy with the "facility"- no matter inside room or within hotel. there is no kettle and fridge is not working.... the hotel even charged "facility fee" upon check-in (around $40 per night) . dont have choice, even we dont need mini gym, computer corner, and $10 laundry coupon at all.

I loved everything about 70 Park Avenue! The location was perfection, the property was immaculate and stylish, my room was incredible and had a surreal Empire State view and I cannot say enough about the kind folks who work there! I have to specifically shout out Julio, who was the always warm and welcoming each time I came in/out of the hotel. He had great recommendations for things to see and do and he really went the extra mile to make my stay top notch. We will definitely be staying at 70 Park the next time we are in NYC!

We had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic and so was the price we found it at. The bed was comfortable, the wifi was fast. We liked the complimentary water and the bottle refill station by the gym. Among the things that could be improved: toilet paper was single ply. There were (hopefully just) mosquito marks on the wallpaper. Our room was cleaned even though the do not disturb sign was on.

This was a decent place to stay. Near Grand Central Station but far enough away from the frenzy of Times Square. The room was clean, there were plenty of outlets, and the bed was comfortable. Just right for a quick weekend trip.
