Our king room wasn't ready at 3pm and would've been another hour, after a long day of travel we went with a queen room that was absolutely tiny. The elevator is also absolutely tiny for the amount of rooms in the hotel.

The tiniest hotel room I've ever stayed in (no room for even 1 chair!) and also the most costly. But I DID get a room even when the UN General Assembly was meeting. Nice location between Lincoln Center and the Natural History Museum on the west side of Central Park. Clean room, nice people, and good breakfast area. - jj

There was not a lot to like about this hotel. We were given room 1403, the worst hotel room we have ever had. There was hardly any space to move in the room, the carpets were worn and filthy, the toilet bowl was cracked, stained and unclean, the shower head fell off and we could not turn off the water, the toilet door handle was broken, the ancient air condition unit was held together with duct tape, On the second day we were given a better room on floor six. Thank goodness.

Most staff is very nice. But I called to ask about luggage storage before the trip and one of the female staff told me that we can’t keep the luggage after check-out which made us troublesome while planning the trip. When we check-out, we saw some luggage at the lobby so I asked again and the male staff told me that keep the luggage is not a problem.

This property is tired and in need of updating. My room was very small.. just enough space for a double bed, (pushed hard against the wall), and a chest of drawers. It did have a small en-suite too with a shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful which helped with the stay and breakfast was good. If you’re not planning on spending much time at the hotel you should be ok.

The location of this hotel is perfect for our needs, but for the price, the place is pretty run down. We had a king bed room on the second floor, and the furniture seemed like it came out of a frat house dumpster, frankly. Lots of dings and paint splotches on the walls that could have been easily fixed up. The rooms are small, but that can't be helped because of the building itself. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although we did pay for a very early check-in, and still had to wait in the lobby for about 45 minutes after our check-in time for the room to be ready.

Ideal stay for a base of operations close to subway and minutes from Central Park, Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast could be an Issue as space is limited in dining area, rooms are snug as look bigger online, beds comfortable and clean, but did the job as was out most of the day, could do with a bit of refurbishment as building a bit tired overall I/We had no complaints.

Things I did not like: Room is already small enough but the AC is positioned TERRIBLE. If you sleep on single bed with AC open YOU WILL FREEZE TO DE*TH. It could be better engineered or organized. Things I liked: it is most economic option for that beautiful location. You can walk to both subway locations in 5 and 15 mins. Just next to central park. Being breakfast included is also saves a lot for economic travelers :)
