The lobby was pretty and the room was fine. We were able to keep our bags there all day before check-in for a small fee. Check-in wasn't until 4:00 and we truly could not check in early, so that was a bit disappointing. I also didn't love how the lobby played very loud music at all hours and I really didn't like the perfume they pumped into the lobby. Perfume doesn't usually bother me, but I couldn't stand that.

Aloha- from Hawaii Unfortunately the experience was short lived… I checked in and couldn’t check out quick enough. The Lobby reeked of cigarette and alcohol…the room had silver duct tape on the blinds and fixtures that were once hanging on the wall looked like they were ripped off the leaving screws. It may sound like I’m being over dramatic but if wanted to stay in a hostel I would have arranged so but I paid a fair amount to lodge at the paramount amd was looking forward to it. I checked out within the hour. THEN being told I would receive a refundI have yet to see any action take place after reaching out several times When are you going to follow up with this situation and come thru with my refund as promised.

Always great here
The best location. Very comfortable beds and accommodating staff. Rooms are small, but that’s the way it is in NYC. It is hard to beat Paramount for the value.

Hotel needs maintenance and renewing. Had to pay to leave bags with hotel after checking out (seems it's also the case before checking in), and they asked for cash and didn't take credit cards. The rooms look old and I found a dead cockroach in mine. There's no breakfast served at the hotel. Despite all this, the staff are friendly and helpful.

It was fine but the sink was leaking when we arrived and the room didn’t come with a fridge or any other essential appliance. If you need something most likely you will have to make a stop by the front desk.
