A disappointing stay
We were dismayed to find that our produce had frozen overnight in the frig. It was very inconvenient NOT having COFFEE OR TEA MAKERS in the room. They were available in the main building and I promptly dropped my hot tea enroute to my room. The renovations e.g. re-painting were poorly done and already showing signs of peeling. The new bathroom tiles were very slippery when wet. The sign for the Inn at the highway was peeled off and the sign at the Inn itself was nowhere to be seen. It took me two tries and 20 minutes to locate the property . I was even in the parking lot but did not know that I was at the Inn so we left to try again. I smelled cigarette smoke in the lobby. Overall a rather disappointing stay. On a cheerier note, the sunrise was beautiful.

Very rude staff. No helped offered instead just focused on forcing us to go away. Expedia didn’t help because it was in the booking information that 6 people were booked but in reality it was 4. No relocation or incentives offered. Very very disappointed, never again.

The only thing upset about. Rate advertised as $149. A night. Then charged $218. When I questioned it. He said $149 was American rate. In a motel in Canada. Felt that was very much FALSE advertising.

A cute location within 30 minutes of Highland National Park. Nothing fancy but adequate. The rooms are pet friendly and thus had a powerful scent of deodorizer which was borderline nauseating. Would be fine if you brought a smelly dog!? The heater was noisy but the outside temperature allowed us to turn it off overnight.
