We really appreciated the comfortable chairs in the room. Unfortunately, the lighting was poor. Only one bedside table & lamp leaving the other bedside with nothing. Despite having a restaurant, they only serve breakfast & there’s an extra charge for that. The room was clean with extra towels.

The outside is deceiving from the newly renovated interior. Don't judge a book by its cover. Pleasantly surprised. Had a wonderful sleep, comfy beds, new bathroom.

I love this quaint little inn. If you’re looking for a 5 star, better prepare to pay lots of $$$. For the money, this place was just fine. Beautiful view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Clean room with everything you need for a short stay. Two great restaurants not far away. (Take the advice of the front desk for that). All in all, I’d stay here again.

Motel situé au bord de la Rivière Margaree et à proximité de la mer. L’extérieur des bâtiments laisse à désirer mais l’intérieur a été rénové et convient bien à un court séjour comme étape d’un voyage ou comme hébergement de pêcheurs dans la magnifique rivière. Personnel à l’accueil très attentionné.

Vanessa took great care of us. She was friendly and helpful and funny 😆 The rooms are clean and comfortable and they smell amazing as do the sheets and towels. We enjoyed sitting out front of our room in the Muskoka chairs provided while looking out at the beautiful water. We would highly recommend The Duck Cove Inn!

Dining room not open although they advertise a restruant. Had to find somewhere else to view. Building in need of maintenance but an excellent view of the Margaree River, Hard to locate. Sign's blew down several years ago & never replaced,

Location is good and it’s clean. Yard facing water is nice and clean, too. However it doesn’t provide bottled water or kettle, not even a mug you can cook water with microwave. I don’t think the tap water there is safe to drink. You can’t even buy a bottled water because there is no vending machine

Great stay at Duck Cove Inn. Newly renovated room. Comfortable bed. Fridge and microwave in the room. Stunning sunrise views and water views. Close to beaches. Great place to stop if you’re going over the Cabot Trail or tubing on the river. Will definitely book again.

Old but charming motel on the mend with fishcakes!
Older property with lots of refreshes and fantastic views, still a work in progress. Saw a bald eagle in the evening and a fantastic sunrise. Owners were engaging and friendly, and breakfast menu included fishcakes--which were fantastic!
