Expedia asked us to call the hotel to book the pet friendly room which is a double room after booking through Expedia. The hotel will add the fee for each dog. You will pay your booking invoice directly to the hotel when leaving. The dog room was right by the hallway so we could take them outdoors without a long walk within hotel or bother others which was wonderful. Beds were comfortable and clean. Downtown there is an awesome homemade fish and chip shop and the restaurant The Black Spoon! Both excellent food.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. Very nice place to stay restaurant very nice. Rooms clean and quiet. Very nice play to stay and you can’t get any closer to the ferry ⛴️

Expected more for the $.
We came, we ate, we slept, we left. Bathroom fan did not work, bathroom taps were backwards, low pressure in shower, pillows weren’t great, mattresses were lumpy, they charge you for bottled water left in fridge, no note paper or pen, staff on desk were very friendly and helpful.

Everything about the stay was excellent. We had just got off the early ferry from Newfoundland & were bone tired. When I called to see of the room was ready, Brittany said, “You can check-in any time!” Musical words to very weary travellers! Our server, Jessy, was excellent. The menu in the restaurant is very extensive. The dishes we had were wonderful. This is where we’ll stay if in North Sydney again!
