Upon arrival we found that the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The buildings are all single story so you can park right outside your room door, and the rooms are clean and quiet. There’s a restaurant right on the property that is open from breakfast time until 8PM and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The only negatives I found were the mattresses were old and squeaky, and the shower/bathtub prefab unit had multiple cracks that were filled with huge amounts of caulking. With a little bit of updating/repairs, this property would definitely be a 5 star accommodation.

The location is in Capebreaton Park and close to Pleasant Bay, which is quiet and convenient for travelling stops. The room is spacious, the only drawback is that there is no fridge in the room.

An old style motel which was generally well maintained but air con was noisy and ineffective and bath had ‘Heath Robinson’ repairs so it leaked badly. Worth staying as it is in a great location but temper expectations.

This property was halfway for us on the Cabot Trail, it was a great place to spend the night, the restaurant was fantastic and the lobster and crab were a great price and delicious!

We are really enjoying it. The location is perfect with such a breathtaking mountain view, especially convenient for us planing to do the skyline trail. The on-site restaurant spoiled all the guests. If only a hair dryer could add to the room.

Good Place for a1 Nght Stay.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check in/out was quick. Rokm was dated, but very clean. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. It was a full size bed, which I haven't seen in years. Double rooms nowadays have 2 queen beds...not 2 full size. Toilet sat very low, almost like it belongs in an elementary school bathroom, not in a room for adults. There was no hairdryer, no place for luggage, other than on the furniture and only a hook on the wall with a hanger to hang a jacket. Food at the restaurant was pretty decent. I would recommend a stay here as an overnight, not a long term stay. We stayed 1 night while ridjng the Cabit Trail and would stay here again.

Very disappointing. The property is badly in need of renovations. Not enough supplies for four people. The outlets were insufficient and very loose. The shower head needs replacement and the water in the taps was very scalding. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and the food was excellent.

Loved the ambiance. Property is older but very well maintained and updated. Comfortable and roomy with a charming mixture of new and antique furniture. Bed was comfortable with fluffy blankets. There was a restaurant on site with convenient hours but we didn’t try it. Only thing we noticed was spotty wifi. Likely this was due to the location. I would stay here again!

The room was outdated. Bathroom door cannot be closed. Bad smell from the sink. When someone takes a shower at the room next door, you can hear strong sound in your room.
