"Waited for my road trip from WA to AZ for months, check in process was smooth and welcoming. I was even offered an upgrade for practically nothing (Ambassador Suite) and was definitely appreciated. Room was perfect. Literally 5 mins after entering the room I received a phone call informing me that my father was in the hospital and he was passing. I rushed to the front desk to let them know that I had to leave and nothing bad been touched hoping they could just pass it to someone else. My reservation was noon refundable so I didn't even think to ask for a refund or exception of any kind, the leadership that assisted me instantly let me know that it was ok and offered me a full refund, I was shocked and even asked if they were sure because it was non refundable. I'm still shocked that they were so understanding and willing to help my situation any way possible. I will be rebooking in the very near future. "
