Small quarters
Location was good with a comfortable bed. However, we didn't have wifi. They charged an $8 tax for the soap and shampoo. It's old and we had spiders inside and out.It's small; when you open the door it hits the bed and the bathroom door hits the other side of the bed.

Simple access, gracious host and clean as a whistle room. There was difficulty getting tv to work, but handled by the staff quickly. (turned out to be batteries in one remote). Breakfast was simple but good. The lady in charge was a great host for our one night stay. I would stay again

20 years old, no ac, coffee pot but no coffee. Hot water goes in and out, shower knob to turn off hot water which turned ice cold could not be turned off, until plummer arrived to fix it.

Just plan awful. We checked in, walked into the room and decided to sleep in our car. Cobwebs, peeling paint, flimsy doors, no security, scary.

Low key basics near Yarmouth's ferry terminal
Low key no frills comfort near The Cat Ferry terminal in Yarmouth. Shows its age with a few cracked floor tiles, but the room was quiet and comfy after a long drive and ferry trip.

Convenient location to get to ferry terminal in Yarmouth. Nothing walkable from hotel. Hotel is aging and run down. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our booking said check in was at 1pm but on arrival the hotel said check in was at 4pm.

I stayed at this motel one night, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the place was poorly maintained. The room was unbearably hot because there was no air conditioning, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep, especially my elderly dog who was panting the entire time. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi connection was practically nonexistent, which was incredibly frustrating as we couldn't connect to anything. The cleanliness of the room was appalling and the overall state of the room made us uncomfortable. We were so dissatisfied that we decided to check out a day early, even though we were refused a refund for the remaining night. I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. This place is in desperate need of improvements, and until that happens, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. They had multiple guests leave early and they continue to rip people off who cannot see themselves staying any longer.

This is by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. The room was dirty, so was the bathroom. The broom was covered in spiderwebs. The stove was dirty and there were no dishes to cater to 4 people as advertised and even listed on a piece of paper inside the room. The kitchenette did not have knives or a coffee maker or frying pan. The fridge is leaking water and I had to clean it before I could use it. No dish towels or drying towels. There is no 24/7 front desk service. There is no AC in the room and the entire unit is contaminated with a mold smell, which caused us harm. The hot water is scolding and burns your skin if you don't be carful. The faucet does not keep it in lukewarm and switches to cold or scolding hot while showering. The floor is caving in as the structure is comprised. Safety issue! The view is to a gas tank and garbage cans. This hotel and the Lakelawn Motel are all owened by this Vietnamese Man and he does not care in the properties or their upkeep. Does not offer any refunds. Don't waste your money on either one of them.

Run the other way.
First of all I would recommend to not have them on your hotel list. The toilet looked like a 5 year old repaired the floor around the toilet. The rubber cocking was just smeared around the toilet to fill in the missing tiles after a quick fix. They could put a new curtain rod in the bath so the curtain wasn’t sagging . Go to the dollarama and for $4.for a new one . Had to go th the office because they left only a small bit of toilet paper on the holder. It just felt unclean. Have a little pride in your hotel . The little thinks matter. Hemm the bedspread to fit the bed so it isn’t dragging on the floor. Thank you very much

This is often the cheapest motel to stay at so one should keep that in mind. With no AC the rooms can get hot with the sun coming through the large window and cell signals in my room at least was not good at all. The wifi was strong, and you are just on the edge of town to go pick up food or whatever.

Pictures showed 2nd floor 2 Bdrm with nice furniture in main room but not like pics at all. View was great outside but Couch needs updating & no table & chairs at window? Pictures not accurate. Also to get to 2nd floor the back path is a cement path & steps very cracked, which is unsafe. The back path lighting is very poor. The gazebo is nice outlook spot lighting for smokers so non smokers can’t enjoy Staff was very friendly & helpful . Close to ferry & breakfast was sufficient to get a person started. The inaccurate depiction online is very Misleading especially for 2 Bdrm and ought to be corrected
